SRAC Auction and Waverly's Attic Community Event!

Get ready for a HUGE event in downtown Waverly August 11th!Along with a 5-6 hour auction packed with great items, there will be great food, tons of vendors selling great stuff, dunking booths and other fun games for the kids, and we are even working on some live music later on in the event!

If you have items that you can donate to the SRAC fundraising auction and want them picked up-

This is a community event that will last from 11- 7pm and SRAC will also host an auction from noon - 6pm - jam packed with incredible items!

"Remembering Lincoln at Gettysburg" at SRAC Tuesday, July 2nd

"Remembering Lincoln at Gettysburg" will be presented by by Lance Heidig, from Cornell University on Tuesday, July 2nd 6:30 – 7:30pm at SRAC, 345 Broad Street , Waverly, NY.

Waverly native and Cornell Outreach and Learning Services Librarian, Lance Heidig, has spent the past year researching Abraham Lincoln. Focusing on materials from the Cornell University Library’s extensive Lincoln collections, he will discuss and commemorate the 150th anniversaries of the Battle of Gettysburg, and the Gettysburg Address.

A $6 donation admission fee is requested for all non SRAC members, $4 for SRAC members, and students attend all events free. Admission to the SRAC Exhibit hall is included in the admission fee.

SRAC and Tanglewood Nature Center team up to bring a FREE educational series this summer!

The second of the 3-part  series is “BIRDS OF A FEATHER” - This live animal program presented by Tanglewood Nature Center highlights LIVE BIRDS!

Learn about the distinctive features of each type of bird while you get a varied look at some of Tanglewood's bird ambassadors and enjoy SRAC’s Exhibit Hall  filled with thousands of local Native American artifacts!
