New Copper Exhibit on Display at SRAC
A
new display at SRAC has just been completed by SRAC's Don Hunt. Actual copper artifacts
from Michigan. These are amazing and represent the only metal work
accomplished by Native Americans before European contact. The copper was
mined and then pounded into shape and sharpened or rolled to be the
shape they wanted. Copper artifacts used in our area are also on display
in our museum as well! We are open 1-5 Tuesday's thru Friday's and
Saturdays 11-4. Admission is free.
